Distant Imagery is a UAE-based SME specializing in aerial and underwater solutions for environmental analysis, monitoring, and habitat restoration. Our range of products and services includes drones, kites, balloons, and remotely operated vehicles (ROV). With a team of dedicated experts, we provide cost-effective and community-oriented solutions for customers in the UAE and developing country communities globally.
Distant Imagery was founded with a vision to make cost-effective tools available to all and promote community engagement in data collection and storytelling. We believe in involving people in environmental analysis and monitoring and empowering them to share their stories. Our journey began with a strong focus on developing UAV and underwater technologies to enhance data collection. Over time, we have expanded our offerings to include customized drone building and training programs, as well as environmental restoration solutions using advanced aerial technologies.

We continuously innovate and develop new technologies and tools to stay at the forefront of the industry. We believe that cost effective tools should be available to all. We believe in the power of community engagement and involving people in the collection of the data and the stories that they want to tell. We are passionate about working alongside developing countries and enhancing their environmental management.
How Do We Work?
We work out of the UAE as a central hub to then work around the world in both terrestrial and marine as well as built environments. We work in all conditions, in natural habitats, deep in the mangroves and under the sea or on a beach of a hotel. We specialize in three complimentary specialisation areas through our team, as well as bringing in from our global connections expertise needed.
Currently registered under the Sharjah Freezone Area and Abu Dhabi Mainland
