Avid outdoors-men, foodie, shade tree engineer, and keen avoider of all things “behind a desk related”. Cory grew up in the country learning about nature, the environment around him, and how to repair whatever he had just broken. 10 years in the military brought him a level of focus and dedication that allowed him to self learn engineering. After working as an aircraft maintenance engineer, military and civilian, for somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 years, Cory decided he would much rather choose his own uniform and decided to found Distant Imagery.

He currently spends his time designing and building anything that he can strap a camera to in the hopes that showing people enough of the worlds environments will help them understand, love, and protect them.
