Empowering Communities Through Technology & Ownership

We believe impact is greatest when technology is in the hands of the people protecting and restoring their own environments. Our community-based licensing model ensures local teams own, adapt, and operate our technology without barriers, using it for a wide range of applications.

Through our cost-recovery approach, we co-build and train communities to deploy restoration and monitoring tools tailored to their needs. Once licensed, they retain 100% of the revenue from their work, whether it’s lower-cost MRV, illegal fishing and poaching detection, monitoring land encroachments, upscaling bee production, ecosystem restoration, or conservation-driven livelihoods. This model creates self-sustaining solutions that strengthen both the environment and local economies.

Borari Tribe Brazil

In collaboration with the Borari Tribe in Alter do Chão, this initiative equips the community with self-engineered drones and aerial monitoring tools to protect their lands, restore ecosystems, and strengthen local livelihoods through enhanced bee keeping. The project integrates territorial monitoring, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture using drone-assisted planning. By ensuring full ownership and revenue retention, the Borari can independently manage their environmental resourceswhile sharing innovations with other communities through a global knowledge exchange platform.

Community-Led MRV & Mangrove Restoration in Kenya

This initiative supports cost-effective, community-led Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) for mangrove conservation in Kenya’s coastal ecosystems. Working with Mikoko Pamoja and Vanga Blue Forest, the project develops under-canopy drones to lower the cost of carbon credit verification and ecosystem monitoring, enabling communities to collect high-resolution forest data independently. Additionally, drone-based mangrove restoration trialswill refine reforestation methods to scale coastal rehabilitation.

Opportunities for Sponsorship & Investment

Support Low-Cost MRV & Carbon Monitoring – Help communities develop and deploy under-canopy drones to make carbon credit verification more accessible for projects like Mikoko Pamoja.

ROI Through Impact & Communications – Sponsors gain visibility in climate solutions, access to carbon data, and communication opportunities linked to Kenya’s conservation leadership.

Engagement & Expansion – The project is scalable across East Africa, with potential for site visits, corporate participation, and collaboration on climate-smart conservation solutions.
